Dr Michael Prößler

B.Sc. (Anat./Phys.), M.Sc. (Chiro), ICSSD

Dr Michael Prößler is the director of Health & Performance Space.

He is an expert in neuro-musculoskeletal health with a special interest in human performance and lifestyle medicine and is one of Australia’s leading athletic therapists.

He regularly consults with top performers from across different disciplines, including strength and power sports, combat sports, physique competitors, track and field, as well as first responders, business executives, and highly motivated individuals seeking to optimise their health and physical performance.

With more than 25 years in the health and fitness industry, Michael can frequently be found sharing his knowledge at seminars and workshops and is a highly sought after mentor to health and fitness professionals.

Mr Vihang Iskande

B.Sc. (Ex.Sc), M.Sc. (Ex.Rehab.), AES, AEP

Vihang is an accredited exercise physiologist (AEP), exercise scientist (AES) and senior strength & conditioning coach at HPS. Vi has over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry with his forte in injury prevention and rehabilitation through strength training.

His adaptive training style coupled with his knowledge on functional anatomy and movement has seen him successfully rehabilitate his clients, helping them build the necessary long term resilience required prior to returning to the activities they love.

In his free time Vihang loves training for Powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Mr Michael Gordon

B.Sc. (Physio), APAM

Mike has nearly 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry in Perth. As a senior physiotherapist, he has developed a reputation for his expertise in managing athletic injuries and his commitment to helping clients achieve their health and fitness goals.

He’s worked with a diverse range of clients, from dancers and gymnasts to strength athletes and martial artists. He has also got a special interest in chronic pain management and is no stranger to ACL and rotator cuff injuries – he’s seen his fair share!

Mike’s own experience with chronic pain fuels his passion for exercise and helping others achieve their health goals. He strongly emphasises lifestyle management and self-care as crucial components of the healing process. With his unwavering dedication to personalised care, you can rest assured that you will be in capable hands.

When not in clinic, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, working on cars, and training himself.

Mr Lawrence George

Remedial Massage Therapist

With a wealth of experience, Lawrence specialises in assisting athletes at various levels, including national powerlifters, Muay Thai fighters, jiu-jitsu practitioners, competitive dancers, and Australian Football players. Beyond sports, he extends his expertise to clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them alleviate daily discomfort and pain.

Employing a blend of deep tissue and trigger point therapy, along with techniques like PNF stretching, MET and dry needling, Lawrence’s treatments target specific areas of pain and surrounding tissues, facilitating the recovery process.

Clients can anticipate personalised care, comprising focused treatments and if necessary, corrective exercises to enhance overall well-being.

Meet Kate, our exceptional Client Care Coordinator at Health and Performance Space.
With a background in business management and a passion for health and wellbeing, she is a valuable asset to our team.

Currently completing a health science degree, Kate enjoys going to the gym, outdoor runs and has a special love for dogs. Her dedication and friendly demeanour make her an inspiring member of our staff.

In the past, Kate ran a busy personal training business, where she established herself as a qualified personal trainer and certified nutritional food coach as well as competed as a successful natural bodybuilding competitor.
